The Journey is a church designed to reach and make disciples among those on the outside of hope looking in around the world - the poor, the addicted, the challenged, and the forgotten. In other words...Jesus' people! We are a multi-racial community church and a member of the Spartanburg Baptist Network. Our gatherings are friendly, casual, and uplifting.
Since moving to our current location, we have seen God do great things. Attendance has doubled in the last 10 months. Baptisms have increased from 10 in 2008 to 24 in 2009. More people are serving and making a difference in the community, and leaders are being raised up.
